For Tyler's 8th Birthday we invited four friends over to come celebrate. Tyler's actual birthday isn't until the 26th. We went to the Washington City Pool, in St. George area, and wanted to spend the day. We had the party from 11 am to 5:30 pm. The boys wanted to keep it going, but we had plans later that night to play kickball with a bunch of families for family night. We started out with lunch at our house, opened the presents, and ate cake and ice cream. We then journeyed to St. George. I rented a movie for them to watch in the van. The boys got a long so well. I think they had fun.

My cake is a race track from the number 8. Unfortunately, it fell apart in transporting it to the foiled pan, I then tried to piece it back together. This is what I was left with. Oh, well. I tried.

I love how you make every Birthday special and I promise your kids will remember them. Those are times that are cherished forever and all of Mom's efforts will not be forgotten.
Alisha, that was the COOLEST birthday party! I'm serious!! You are an awesoe fun mom! Thanks for inviting Trey...he had a BLAST! He kept telling me about the fun pool and all the fun that he had with everyone of you. So fun!
That's such a cool pool! I bet Tyler had such a fun birthday celebration. You made it such a special day for him, I bet he felt like the coolest kid around. That's what birthdays are for. Your cake looks awesome! I am so amazed at you moms who step up to make these artistic, creative cakes your kids will love. I LOVE it!! I have never attempted such a thing and can only hope to live up to the standard you're setting. Also the group picture of the boys had me laughing; they're all going nuts and then trey is all shy over on the side. So classic!! :)
